Every day, we go through the motions, experiencing the highs and the lows. Some of us feel we have found our peace and purpose, yet I believe we all harbor a sliver of doubt in our minds, a yearning for something more. Whether you're homeless on the street or a millionaire in a mansion surveying your lands, we all seek peace. Have you ever pondered what peace means to you? For me, it's connection, understanding, and respect. It's the ability to connect and collaborate with others. After all, without other people, what are we, really? Am I alone in thinking this, or am I the odd one out? You might call me crazy and turn the page, but while I have your attention, what does peace mean to you?
Many of us are searching, and many of us are unsure, but I thought maybe we could use a little guidance. I've found something that helps: journaling every night, reflecting on my highs and lows. That is my peace—being with myself and being at ease with who I am. A bit of soul searching to truly understand oneself doesn't hurt. Do you know who you are? Doesn't hurt to write about it?
Theres so many different types of journals. Just starting with a simple journal would suffice. Just as long as you're doing the work to be better and to love yourself; you're succeeding.
